It’s well known as a dark and forbidding building, with its supporting role in the horror film Rosemary’s Baby - not to mention the fact that Beatles superstar John Lennon lived here and was murdered just outside in 1980. Lennon is said to now haunt Dakota, but while still alive claimed to have had his own paranormal experiences in the building, seeing The Crying Lady.
She is believed to be former caretaker Elise Vesley whose son was killed by a truck when playing outside.
