The state of Indiana is known for many things including agriculture, auto racing, college athletics, and much more. It is also a very friendly place to visit both for those choosing it as a destination and also for those traveling through it on the way to somewhere else. Here are just three of the many fun things to see and do when visiting Indiana.
1] College Football Hall of Fame
Some of the greatest players ever to play college football have been enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame located in South Bend, Indiana. Some of the players included in the College Football Hall of Fame include Norm Van Brocklin, O.J. Simpson, Walter Payton, Ronnie Lott, Marcus Allen, Dick Butkus, Earl Campbell, John Elway, Paul Hornung, and Alex Karras. The College Football Hall of Fame also preserves the memories of great teams, administrators, coaches, and games too.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Hall of

One of the top attractions for any fan of automobile racing is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Hall of Fame Museum. The speedway itself dates back to 1909 and is still to this day one of the most famou raceways in the entire world. The museum traces the history of automobile racing and the hall of fame preserves the memories of some of the great people who have touched this wildly popular sport.


3] Santa Claus, Indiana
The community of Santa Claus, Indiana is famous because of its interesting name. Many children from all over the world send their letters to Santa Claus to the post office at Santa Claus, Indiana. The town also has a number of great attractions for vacationers to take advantage of there too including the Santa Claus Museum, the Santa Claus Post Office, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, Santa's Candy Castle, and the two streets of Mistletoe Drive and Candy Cane Lane.
